I'm still wrapping my brain around the fact that it's been two years since my life was flipped turned upside down, two years since the world shut down and forced me to get out of my comfort zone and find a way to entertain myself during quarantine and join the dating apps! Do my OG's remember this guy?? He was the first profile I ever shared, more of a joke really, but it opened up a whole new world for us in this group we've formed, and got us ALL through 2020!

Every single one of you has continued to support me through all of this, and has wanted nothing but for me to go find my happy and that means THE WORLD to me!
Coach and I were able to squeeze in some time last night at a local ice cream/burger and fries joint and shared a hot fudge sundae and a side of fries like a cute couple from the 50's.
I've been nervous about bringing up with Coach the opportunity we have to travel later this year with a few of my family members as couples.
Nervous because it's not until late August. Nervous because that's in the future. Nervous because that means I'm just assuming we're still gonna be together in a few months, and we're still gonna like each other in a few months. Nervous because it's also super exciting to think about having someone like Coach to share my life with, and travel with.
This was the question I asked Coach to bring up the conversation about the trip.
Coach said, "I mean, Greece is like one of those bucket list destinations isn't it? I'd love to go there someday!"
Me: "Ok well we have an opportunity to travel with some of my family members as couples this year in August if you want to come with me?"
Coach: "Wow! You really want to take ME on a trip like this with ya?"
Me(jokingly): "Well not really, but I figured I'd extend the invite anyway."
Coach(laughing): "Well gosh I'd love to! That sounds amazing!"
So I think this means we're committed to each other for at least a few more months, haha!
Coach walked me to my car, we said our goodbyes, and kissed and hugged in the parking lot like teenagers, and then headed home to our kids.
Gosh it would be so much easier if we were doing life together all the time, which isn't an unreasonable future thought at this point, I like that!
